How do I order sashes or stoles?
To create your own custom design, use our Sash Designer. There you can create a custom graduation, fraternity or sorority stole, or design your own sash for a pageant or corporate event.

If you would like to order a standard stock design, simply visit our online store.

You can also mail, phone, or fax in your order to us directly. If you would like an order form, just call or email us and we will send one out right away.

Do you accept checks?
Yes, we accept checks via ACH or mailed for sashes and stoles for your convenience. Please note that a $25.00 fee will be assessed for returned checks. Simply send a check payable to "The Sash Company" to the address below:

What credit cards do you accept?

Do I have to pay tax on my sash or stole order?
Orders shipped to addresses in California will be charged 8.25% sales tax. Orders delivered to addresses outside of California will not be charged tax.

Do you ship C.O.D.?
No, we do not accept cash on delivery.

How soon will I get my order?
When you place your order and payment has been received, our seamstresses begin to hand make your sashes. 90% of all orders are shipped 15 business days after the order is PAID for in full. (In the months of April, May and June, we are in our busy Graduation season. During these months all orders require 4-6 weeks to process.)

Organizations placing a sash or stole order with a custom logo for the first time must allow additional time for artwork set-up.

The general rule on ground shipping is to allow one week for your shipment to arrive AFTER the standard production time. If you need it earlier, call our office to have RUSH FEES added & paid place your order with our friendly staff.

I need my sashes FAST — can you help?
While we encourage our customers to place their sash orders 3 weeks or more prior to their event, we understand that may not always happen. Rush orders can be placed with PRIOR approval, Just call our customer service toll-free at 1 (877) 443-SASH or (909) 982-7222. 

What is the status of my order? Has it shipped yet?
Once you place your order, you will be emailed an order confirmation. Once your order is shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation with the tracking number included.

What if I want something on my sash that I don't see here? Or what if the number of words won't fit in the order box because my wording is too long?
Just call our office — there is an additional fee for anything over 30 characters (which includes spaces) we design sashes and stoles for organizations everyday and we can help you to create a sash that says exactly what you want.

What are your sashes and stoles made of? Are they washable? Will they look great for years and not fall apart, fray or turn different colors like those other companies sashes?
Our sashes are made of Japanese Satin — it is heavier than bridal satin which is made of acetate. One touch of a French fry and your acetate sash is ruined.Japanese Satin has a beautiful shine and can be HAND WASHED when soiled ! It will look as beautiful as when you took it out of the box! Our sashes will not fray, come apart, or turn colors like other companies' sashes. Because we make sashes for clergy, our sashes are meant to be worn for many many years. Japanese satin is triple the cost of acetate bridal satin, a value we provide to you at no additional charge. Once you've seen the difference, you'll never want acetate satin sashes again!

What is the difference between a Graduation Sash and a Graduation Stole?
While technically a "sash" is a garment that goes across the body from one shoulder to the opposite hip, when it comes to graduation sashes vs. stoles, both terms are used interchangeably. Both refer to the classic graduation garment that goes across the shoulders, with both ends falling vertically down the body. So really, there is no difference — Graduation stoles and Graduation Sashes are the same thing.

Refund Policy, Canceling/Changing your order

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return your unused sash within 10 days. We will gladly exchange it for the same sash, or credit the amount towards the purchase of another sash.

If for any reason you need to cancel or change your order please call us within 24 hours of placing your order at (909) 982-7222. Due to the custom nature of our business, once sashes have been embroidered with your custom personalization and/or put into Production (usually 2-3 days after placing your order) no cancellations/changes are accepted. Please, always check your final quote/order that all names and titles are spelled correctly as well as everything is correct on your final quote/order.

General shipping Information
All shipments are sent via UPS or USPS. Signatures are generally required in order to release packages valued at $100.00 or more. If your order is placed to a illegible or incomplete address, your order may be delayed. For more information, see our Shipping page.

I live outside the U.S., is that a problem?
We are happy to ship internationally at the same low prices. Remember, when you order all prices are quoted and must be paid in U.S. Funds. Allow ample time for your shipment to clear customs.

SAFE SHOPPING GUARANTEE
We guarantee that every online transaction you make with The Sash Company will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, We will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. We will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for a reason not seen on the original quote/order, return your unused sash(es)/stole(s) within 10 days and we will gladly exchange it for the same corrected sash/stole, or credit the amount towards the purchase of another sash/stole.
